Siberian Forest Cat

Similar to other forest casts like the maine coon and norwegian the siberian is a large breed. The males average 12-18lbs and the females 9-14lbs at about 13"high. Siberians are slow but steady growers, it will take around 5 years to reach full mature size.

The siberian is a natural breed that developed with little interference in their native russia. Their triple coat provided them with protection from the elements in harsh russian winters. This coat thrives with daily brushing the keep it clean and really helps with the shedding in fall and spring when their coats are changing for the seasons.

These are muscular and agile cats capable of jumping great heights and leaping around your home.

Siberians have a very playfull and loving disposition that is very doglike, including their temperament and attitude towards kids and other animals.

They are an extremely healthy breed that is not linked to any congenital health conditions.

Siberians have a lower Fel D1 protein concentration than other cat breeds making them less likely to trigger allergic reactions. This is the reason we got our first siberian and the reason we decided to breed them.
